Naked Minerals Pressed Mineral Makeup
Can a Makeup Actually Improve Your Skin?
I am one of those women who gave up makeup when I became a full-time mom. Or I should say I was one of those women. Naked Minerals Makeup has changed that for me. Let me tell you why…
I have had trouble with my complexion since my teens. Acne even into my early 40s - ugh! So embarrassing even to write about, but I have a reason. I was very interested to try the Naked Minerals makeup, so much so that I bought the almond foundation before becoming an ITV Ventures IBO and marketing it.
My first try using it was a disaster! I used way too much and it looked awful. So I washed my face and started over, using a lot less. I learned that a little Naked Minerals go a long way. I use the Almond color, and by the end of winter, the darker shade in the Vanilla compact because I am pale from a winter with very little sun exposure.
I want to tell you about some of the things that I absolutely love about Naked Minerals Makeup. I mentioned that I have had acne off and on for a long time. Well, as some of you know, when a pimple heals it can leave an ugly red blotch, that sometimes takes weeks to fade.
Naked Minerals is the only makeup I have ever used that neutralizes those red spots, and makes them seem to disappear. I was floored (and thrilled!) when I noticed that. It may seem a trivial thing to some, but for me, who has almost always agonized over how my skin looks, this is a big deal.
The next thing I noticed was how even my skin looks when I wear Naked Minerals. As close to flawless as I have ever experienced in my life. I have some enlarged pores, and even so, the coverage with NM is amazing. I also love that it feels like I have nothing on my skin.
I am in my early forties, and starting to get some fine lines and creases. Some say that one drawback to mineral makeup is that it highlights creases and imperfections. Well, it will if you overdo it, or use one of the products in the line that has shimmer to it. But a light touch and proper use of any shimmery highlighting products, are all it takes to get a beautiful result with Naked Minerals, on any skin type/age.
The fact that Naked Minerals Makeup is pressed rather than loose means a lot to me. I have two small children, and I am not interested in having such a precious investment shaken down the drain in the time it takes me to turn around. Anyone with children knows what I mean, lol! Seems no matter how careful you are, they are able to get at most everything you don’t want them to.
I have to admit that I have evne slept in the makeup a few times, too, with no ill effects.
I actually believe that Naked Minerals Makeup has improved my skin somehow! I have not heard the creators of the product mention that, but how can putting minerals with no additives on my skin, not be good for it, know what I mean? It definitely does not clog my pores. I will post about that when I learn more. (What I do know right now is that there are no fragrances [most products - some peppermint essential oil in the lip glaze] chemicals, parabens, talc or colorants in Naked Minerals.)
I am actually excited to learn more about using this makeup! There was a conference call last night about the new Naked Minerals Party Plan that really got me excited about this product line. Not just because we have many new products coming out soon, but because I know first-hand that this product line does what it says it will do. This is coming from a woman who gave up on makeup, and used it with frustration and dissatisfaction for many years prior to that.
If that sounds like you or someone you know, or you are ready to give up using toxic makeup on your skin just to look beautiful, Naked Minerals might be just right for you. Plus, you can try it for 30 days, and if for any reason you are not 100% satisfied, you can return it for a full refund, less shipping.
You can go here and watch the current Naked Minerals infomercial. (ITV Ventures is in the process of filming a new Naked Minerals infomercial. We no longer offer the free full-sized foundation mentioned in this one.)
Oh, I just thought of another really important reason for me to have chemical-free all natural makeup. My six-year-old daughter. She loves to put on makeup sometimes, (imagine that, lol!) and I almost never let her, because of all the bad stuff in. With Naked Minerals, we can play around and not worry about her skin reacting, or getting nasty chemicals into her eyes, etc.
Did I mention that there will be a chemical-free mascara added to the Naked Minerals line, soon? Yippee!
In years past, I just felt I looked better with nothing on my face, rather than applying the chemical-laden lotions and powders that made me look like I was wearing a mask…and I always felt I needed to keep touching it up. I am thrilled that now I can wear Naked Minerals, and not worry about it streaking, or settling into fine lines, and looking better than I have in a long time:-) Nice feeling.
Tracy
